I am too surprised that a Dr. would divulge such confidential information. Unless they gave her permission, which I can't really fathom. As long as they are healthy babies then we'll let Jen and Marc deal with the confidentiality issue.

Congratulations to Jennifer and Marc on their twins, but of course she gave that doctor permission to talk because she is going to do whatever it takes to keep her name out there. The media has been swamped with stories of how lavish her delivery room was and how luxurious her children will live and the $6 million baby pictures. No other celebrity exploits themselves like that just because they had a baby. Jennifer is going to make it seem as if she is the only woman in the world to give birth.

He said they were both marvelous what's the big deal. It's not like he gave a play by play on the baby coming out. Everyone walks around with a chip on their shoulder, get over yourselves.

There was no play by play. The phrase 'play by play' was used inappropriately and the doctor(who was probably cleared to say certain remarks)did not say a thing that had not already been said.

The HIPPA does not apply because the doctor did not violate the oath.

The doc didn't exactly say anything confidential, its not as if he said how she screamed or how her vagina was stretched when the babies were coming out. No issues with what she said.

if the doc said there were no any complications then PRAISE BE TO GOD just wishing you good health and more wisdom 4 raising the twins you know its not that easy to raise two babies at a time.

I agree with Dr, WTF, Pamby and anyone else who said "what's the big deal with what the doc said?" There weren't any private tit bits given out. It's common for docs to say that mum and baby (or babies in this case) are doing fine, when people enquire on the status of the new family additions. Gosh I could think of worse, like the doc taking pics of the delivery and then selling to the highest bidder.
