Misguided Youth of the Day: Ali Lohan
I'm saddened by a new interview with Ali Lohan, in the latest issue of Teen Vogue. Lindsay Lohan's sister talks about how she so wants a piece a stardom, just like her a big sis, who, she says, has been her role model.
Um, what? Maybe somebody wants to step in here...
"I grew up watching Lindsay," the 14-year-old(!) tells the mag. "It made me want to do what she does. Just the whole vibe. Being there, being on camera, or onstage, with everybody listening to you ... it's so cool when people look up to you. I've already been asked for my autograph and it's just a really good feeling to have."
She doesn't even say something like, "I've always wanted to act" or "I just really love music" -- her desire is all about he fame and celebrity. HUGE RED FLAG.
She also says that, in addition to making movies and albums like her big sis, she might be a fashion designer, too. And she wants these things "really bad, so bad. So bad you don't even know."
Disaster in the making.

Yes, HUGE RED FLAG. I see a DUI in her future already. Poor thing has a BIG RED HO to look up to. Sad really.

The thing is what she really is saying is "I want to be the centre of attention". Of course it must be quite tough when you have a famous sister - it also makes it a lot easier than someone who is starting at zero in the contacts league. She needs to find something she loves and is good at - then she might be able to have all the attention she craves. Diana
Ohhh God, for her own good, I hope she will not be able to do so..., except of course if she can get a real family with a real mom who adopt her and be there for her...

It's a shame she can't be taken away from her mother and put into a stable home. The parents are why Lindsay turned out with substance abuse problems.
