Rachael Ray on Kids, Marriage Rumors and Plastic Surgery
I find that people either love Rachael Ray or they hate her. I used to love her, before she became overexposed to the point where she was put on a box of my Ritz crackers, but I think she makes some good recipes and I happen to enjoy her magazine. That being said, Rach does have to endure a lot of public scrutiny about her marriage to musician John Cusimano (it's always being reported somewhere that they are about to split), and why she hasn't had children yet.
"I'm too tired," Rachael simply told Extra, about adding to her family. "I feel like I’m a bad mom to my dog... I have five jobs, and I just don’t think I could take on the biggest job of being a parent."
You know, if she did have a kid, everyone would just say that she's neglecting it, so it kinda does make sense. As for the nasty rumors about her marriage, Rach says she's over them.
"The first couple of times I got angry," she admits, "And then I got upset and now I just laugh -- I mean, what else are you going to do?"
Finally, about the rumors that she's recently undergone some plastic surgery, Rachael says those are the most insane stories of all.
"I really laughed at the one that said I had a brow lift," she says. "Do you really think if somebody gave me a week off I would spend it under a knife and if I was going to cut something off, don't you think it'd be my butt and not my forehead?”
Love her or hate her, she's got a point.

It's really sad that the media won't leave her alone about having kids. If she doesn't want kids, she shouldn't be made to feel bad about not having them. If she does want them and is having trouble getting pregnant, the constant asking has to be pretty awful, too.

I think she is adorable. Isn't it funny when someone is genuine, bubbly,and happy, the "green eyed monsters" start popping out of the woodwork? You go Rachael,I got your back, girl! Love you, Love your personality!
I love her too!! I mean she can be a little overbearing and kinda crazy acting. But thats what makes for good TV. She is captivating, and funny, and free spirited!! I really like her, and i agree that the media should just leave her alone, its her life who cares if she has kids or not.

I love Rachael Ray. The only people she is annoying to are judgemental, unhappy people. I agree she shouldn't have to explain to anyone why she doesn't have kids yet...it's nobody's business but her own.
I love Rachel Ray. She has lots of friends and people who support her. Her ideas and opinion helps most of the time. Everyone gets ups and downs. That's life! To those who criticize her problem if she really has one why don’t you look out your own problem! She maybe annoying sometimes but I'm sure you are too. Leave her alone. How would you feel if people talk about your problem in life! She's just trying to help and give ideas even to some people who hates her, surely uses her ideas.
I like Rachael & those stories do get a little tiresome. It's her life & she can live it the way she pleases. About 6 mos ago my husband came home & told me he saw on the tabloid, at the register, that she & her husband were splitting & I told him I thought it was false. So far they are still together.
Rachael seems oblivious to the poor quality of her presentation, set, and food, not to mention that anyone with "five jobs" has only one place to go; it's called WAKE-UP-VILLE. Not so many years ago she was a gentle personality on the Food Network. Now she is the loud, hoarse-voiced, one note wonder who panders to her viewers by incessantly calling them "Kids", and who hawks the disturbingly day-glow orange cookware in the yep-it's-really-that-orange matching kitchen. What happened to the real Rachael, who spoke like a normal person and didn't slop uncooked food in (and around) a bowl as the grand finale? Did the money kill her?
I dont like a lot of TV personalities but whether you like OPRAH or not she is responsible for introducing us to many knowledgeable "authorities" on different subjects and whatever your personal opinion is of her...she is a admirably a self made millionaire who shares the wealth and if she likes someone or something, and we learn about them through her or her show or magazine...MORE POWER to her! Noone forces you to listen to her, or to emulate her...but honestly SHE HAS EARNED THE RESPECT of many people me included as she puts her money where her mouth is and I think that is awesome!
I think her finds Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and Rachel Ray to name a few are great...Rachels recipies are even easy for me to follow and she is great at explaining everything..I thank OPRAH for sharing her finds!

I think Rachael Ray Rock's also ... I love her show ... I miss her show durung the day because I work later ... I was off work for 6 months and never missed one of her shows ...

I like Rachel Ray alot, but I guess people are just weireded out when someone says they don't want babies. I feel weird about that too, to be honest, because who wouldn't want to pass on their own blood and personalities/traits? Anyhoo, hopefully one day she slows down on some of those jobs and takes more time for her family. She would make a good Mom some day. Oh and people commenting about her hoarse voice. I read she recently found out she had a tumor on her vocal cords. She was gonna have surgery to remove it, but she wanted to try vocal couching first to see if that helped instead of surgery, but I don't see that working so hopefully she gets that tumor taken care of before it turns cancerous!
