People mag scored the first pics of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's new baby girl, Harlow, and she is a muffin! Inside, the brand new parents talk about how parenthood has rocked their world. Nicole says Harlow "gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose."
There's also a full on family photo album (which I heard sold for a cool $2 million)
I can't decide who the baby looks like. I know Joel thinks she looks just like her mom, but I see a bit of the Good Charlotte man, as well. What do you think?

That is one beautiful baby picture. The child is gorgeous and so is her Mom. I was not a fan of Nicole's before she got with her husband, got pregnant and had the baby. Maybe it was because she was hanging out with slutty trashy people like (insert PARIS HILTON here), but she seems to have cleaned up her act quite nicely. Great picture!

HARLOW IS A DOLL!!! Much cuter than ANY of Angelina Jolie's kids...all hers are plain ugly.
Harlow is an interesting name for a girl .. must be named after someone in the family would be my guess. I hope they give her a nickname! LOL It wouldn't have been my choice for a girl's name. It really doesn't matter though, she will be one very lucky, very happy little girl. I think she looks a bit like both Nicole & Joel ... her skin is definitely her mother's. They have that glow.
I wish the happy couple all the best in raising their daughter and hope that all the celebrity stuff doesn't impact too negatively. Luckily they can afford to take all the security precautions they need to keep her safe from crackpots. I have to admit to loving the pictures. I know its probably not good or safe for them to let us all see her, but she's beautiful and I enjoy babies so much. Thank you both for sharing her with the world.
Congratulations Nicole on getting your life together, on becoming a mother, but most importantly on finding a path through your personal hell to a place where peace and happiness can once again be joyfully shared with your family and friends. I agree with FireGoddess. The Jolie/Pitt kids are not cute at all. The Shiloh baby was predicted to be a beautiful baby, but she is not even showing signs of being cute yet. Jolie was an ugly baby, an ugly teenager, and now she is still an ugly woman. It doesn't look good for anymore bio babies they have. The adopted kids are really ugo's. They are one big ulgy clan.

I believe Firegoddess meant Jean Harlow rather than Jane Harlow. Jean was a fabulous movie star known as the Platinum Blonde in the 1930s (not 40s as anonymous stated). She died from uremic poisoning in 1937. I have heard in other places that the baby was named after Jean Harlow (although Jean's real name was Harlean Carpenter.)
Anyway, the baby is adorable and I wish the parents and baby all the best.
