American Idol Rocks Out to Lionel Richie
I know we've been talking a lot about American Idol this morning, but I have one more thing to discuss. How freakin' great was David Cooke's performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello"?
I'm totally digging this guy. I've liked him the past two weeks, too, when Simon wasn't so crazy about him, but, this week the Viagra-snubbing judge needed no help getting excited about this performance -- he loved Dave's rock-take on the classic 80s ballad.
This kid could be the dark horse...

I used to live in Blue Springs, MO where David is from and I thought he did a great job on this song.....
