Britney's Dinner Date with Mel Gibson

Nobody ever said Britney Spears had good taste in men. Enter Mel Gibson.
Ewww, no! There was nothing romantic going on when Brit and Mel had dinner at a Russian restaurant Saturday night -- they were actually dining in a group -- in what looked like a business meeting.
"It was exciting to have both of them here together," a restaurant spy told People.com. "We heard they hit it off and that Britney seemed excited." They also said that Brit "looked happy" when she left.
The pop star and Mel had once been neighbors in Malibu, but I doubt they were discussing how to clean up the 'hood. Perhaps it was dinner for those struggling to get back in the good graces of Hollywood? Um, no, Lindsay Lohan wasn't sitting at the head of the table...

Love it, Tracy. For some reason LiLo really rubs me the wrong way...despite all her talent in the past. She's really lost something.
What's wrong with Mel? I must be missing something.
Who Cares! Why don't U put Brit-Paris & Lindsay in the Hustler Mag!
LILO, HELLO.
OLD NEWS ALREADY, LADIES!!! COME UP WITH SOMETHIN NEW, PLEEEEEEAAAAASE!!!!
what's really going on between the two? Somebody say something.
How can you even mention Mel and that girl in the same sentence?? She should feel honored to be in the same room.
Bella:
Mel got drunk and made some very anti-semetic remarks. He still hasn't lived that down.
The movie about Christ was also very anti-semetic. This catholic boy does not like Jewish people and has offended many people over it.
I fail to see the connection with Britney. A father figure?
Yikes.
Get over bashing Mel already. His movie wasn't anti-semitic and neither is he! He said something really stupid - but haven't we all. Get over yourself and move on.
JLo
I saw the Passion of Christ as anti-semetic, you are of course entitled to your perspective on it.
I also didn't enjoy the movie for the graphic drawn out short period of Jesus's life, where he suffered. It made me sick to my stomach to be subjected to that for the length of the movie. I wanted to know more of his life prior to his torture and death.Mel chose to invite the audience into a bloodbath of pain, he glorified and reveled in it.
Did he lay blame? I don't know, I really don't...but how many in the audience consequently did?
That is why I felt the movie was anti semetic. Jesus was doled out the same punishment for the time. The others that suffered the same fate, were just background extras.
