Husband of Singer Corinne Bailey Rae Found Dead
Sad news this morning from London, as singer Corinne Bailey Rae's ("Put Your Records On") husband was found dead in an apartment on Saturday.
Jason Rae, who was a saxophonist and only 31, was found after police were called to the home. He died of a suspected overdose, but toxicology reports are still pending. According to authorities, an unnamed man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs, but has since been released on bail.
Corinne met her husband met when she singer as a coat room attendant at a jazz club in Leeds, England. They married in 2001. Her record label released this statement:
"EMI Records would like to offer its sincere condolences to Corinne Bailey Rae and the Rae family at this tragic time. We ask that the media respects Corinne's privacy and that of her entire family."

Just plain sad. I love her, love her songs. The girls' got talent. Sorry to hear she lost her husband. How tragic and at such a young age.. Love and prayers to the family!
