Is Life With Tom Cruise Taking It's Toll On Katie Holmes?
The new issue of Star hits newsstands today, and on the cover is the big headline, "Sick Katie Collapses!"
So, what's the story? Well, sources tell the tabloid that Katie Holmes is finally breaking down from the pressure of being Mrs. Tom Cruise. They say she is experiencing dizzy spells, headaches, and is losing weight.
"Katie doesn't get enough sleep — and hasn't for months now," says one insider. "She's tired and drained much of the day because Tom is so wired, and they stay awake until after midnight. He has boundless energy, and she just can't compete."
Tom has also put Katie in charge of renovating their new home -- which the mag says has to be just right. "Katie is overseeing the interior design of their lavish $35 million Beverly Hills mansion. "To him, the home is a status symbol," says a source, "so it's on Katie's shoulders to pull off something beyond magnificent, something Tom can brag about. She's giving herself headaches thinking about it and making herself sick."
Who knows the truth when it comes these two. Tom does act creepy and crazy, and Katie does look like a robot half the time, but maybe she's happy being his Stepford wife? Maybe she's pregnant with the sequel to Suri and that's why she's fainting. TomKat will always be an enigma to me. I just want my Joey Potter back.

I guess the pressure of living in a forty million dollar home is REALLY hard to cope with. I feel sooo sorry for here, NOT! She got her self into the Tom thing, guess it will be harder to get out of.

I don't believe tabloids at all now. She was probably under the weather for a few days due to illness or pregnancy or whatever. You can't believe anything they put out there anymore. I bet Tom and Katies marriage is more normal than we think. I hope!

Having said that, Mr Cruise does come across as more than a smidge Stepford-y.

Leave her alone...maybe she just has the flu. Although I with she would gain just a few pounds back.
I was "afraid" this would happen to her sooner or later...I hope when she does get up the "guts" to walk, that she walks with "50%" of everything...

I think she's gorgeous and seems to be a very devoted mother, but I can't help but think Tom is the weirdest man in the world!

I agree, Scarlett. The tabloids have been printing things about Tom driving Katie nuts since they were first seen together. Don't get me wrong - they definitely irk me. But I doubt things are as bad as the rags say or have been as bad as they've said, particularly since they've been saying it for going on 3 years now.
I heard on the MSNBC cable channel that Katie was on some kind of diet that her friend Victoria Beckam was using and losing weight too fast. It caused dizziness and headaches from rapid weight loss. It was nothing more than that. The Star magazine is nothing more than a rag. Everything is blamed on Tom just to get headlines and sell more magazines.
I too heard that Katie was on a diet recommended by Victoria Beckham and was losing weight rapidly. Of course that will give you dizziness and headaches. The Star is a rag, lol.
