Jackass Star Hospitalized in Mental Ward
Steve-O is back in the news today, as the Jackass star is being hospitalized in the mental health ward of Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
TMZ.com says that he has also been charged with cocaine possession, stemming from his arrest on March 3, when he wrecked his own apartment.
According to Star, Steve is in a bad way. He was reportedly admitted to the hospital on Sunday, where he was put on a 72-hour hold, and which has since been extended to 14 days.
"Steve is stabilized on meds at this point," the source told the mag. "He was also treated for burns on his skin as if he had been putting cigarettes out on his own body."
Not unheard of for this dude -- isn't that what he does for a living?
Yes, but sources close to the prankster say that he's been spiraling downhill, with it all coming to head this past weekend. Steve allegedly sent suicide emails to various friends, who then took him for help, and watched as he went nuts at the hospital.
"Steve started flipping out", a witness said. "He told doctors he wanted to hurt himself badly. He wanted to break every bone in his body one by one."
Not that we ever thought he was stable, but this sounds like it's gotten out of hand. Hope he gets the help he needs.

While he's in there, maybe they can fish out everything he's ever shoved up his ass and lost.
LOL, HAHAHAHA!! I don't care for the guy, but I hope he gets the help he needs. He obviously has serious problems.
I hope he gets the help that he needs.
Drugs? No way, I would have never thought, lol.
Drugs, you would never have thought, what part of your anatomy has your head been stuck in. Wacko is where he belongs along with the rest of his crew.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug- said by Rick James- who is now dead from that in which he lived on. It sounds like he needs detox nd to get his right mind back- it is hard to understand unless you have been there. My familiy's prayers are there with him since this is an obvious addiction issue. Steve-O come to Montana- that is how we broke the drug cycle. :)
wow, totally out of the blue...NOT...seriously, cocoaine is a horable world to get stuck in but when you analyze behavior manic-depressant comes to mind first, happy one minute, sad the next.
I wholeheartedly agree, Montana,(me too tammyb)can help you get into touch with life and beauty of it.However there are just as many drugs here if you really try looking into it. Also, my families prayers are with him, but counseling only helps if you own it and tell the truth and want for it to.
