I agree as well that Kidney Infections can be extremely serious. To the person that said they were "peeing" blood, there is a difference between a urinary tract infection and a kidney infection. My mother almost lost her kidneys to an infection so please everyone, unless you are a medical professional stop with your ignorant rants about it being her name that got her hospitilized for the weekend.

Just because one person wasn't hospitalized for a kidney infection doesn't mean others are not. Some infections can be more serious than others. Do people ever stop to think about that? No, instead they assume what ever makes a story juicier than it actually is.

First of all I get kidney infection's all the time i have a disease called intersitial cystitis which has to do with my bladder but if your bladder dont work properly neither will your kidney's and i have to go to the hospital because my infections get so bad. if you have an infection and you dont get it treated it could cause kidney failure trust me i had 90% of my kidney's shut down on me when i was pregnant due to server kidney infections! so i fell your pain jess trust me!

I had a kidney infection so bad two years ago, my doctor wanted to put me in the hospital. As women, we tend to "stick it out" and hope it gets better on its own. Give the girl a break.

Drink and flood yourself w/ cranberry juice and the lowfat type is just as good. I suffer from frequent kidney infections and that is my best recommendation and plenty of pain pills.
