Katie Holmes' Broadway Debut?
Is Tom Cruise really considering letting Katie Holmes take part in a Broadway production?
According to London's Daily Mail, Katie is "in final negotiations" to make her Broadway debut in a revival of All My Sons, an Arthur Miller play set in post-World War II. The actress, who has never been in a professional stage production, would play a woman who visits the family of her former lover, a missing pilot.
A rep for Kate told People.com that she is in discussions, but that "nothing is set." If Katie does get this role, she'll be performing six nights a week.
I don't know -- what will Tom say?
Also, do you think Katie has the acting chops to pull of this emotional role, live, on Broadway? Do tell.

her acting is just ok, and she CAN"T sing!
She's had lots of live theatre experience, just never anything professional. She's not very consistent in her ability to pull off different roles, so the live aspect won't be as hard to deal with as the acting aspect. Not sure, but I don't think there is music in this show, so her very average singing hopefully won't come into play.
This again proves the conclusion he is definitely a future-patient of the local MADHOUSE!!
I actually think she is a great actress.. But I am a fan of the ol Joey Potter days..yes, I love me some Dawsons Creek. So anyway...I think she would do great. I think she definitly needs to get away from Tom a little bit more..
Would Tom LET her do Broadway? TOM is the reason Katie's career is at a standstill
katie Holmes is so luckin to married Tom, just beautiful couple, beautiful daughter, my wish is that maybe katie should get into fashion design, alot better than paris!why? katie grown up become very fine lady, wish world very best wishes to both,
For her young age, Katie has been through a lot and still comes out with a smile on her face. How such a young, wonderful, talented ladie with fabulous parents and friends that love her stay so strong and positive, my hats off to her. Go for the Broadway role, work the six days a week and show the world again, that you, Katie Holmes can do it, leave your dream and still remain a loving wife and mother. Go all the way Katie!
I think she needs this. She has definetly been living in Tom's shadow for quite some time, not too mention all the harassment from the media saying she wasn't really pregnant(remember that guys?)and that tomcat wasn't doing well. Frankly I think they're actually happy and her time to shine will be coming soon.
