I agree with dr, but we don't know what it's like until we walk a mile in their shoes. I would hate for the whole country to be calling me fat when I'm just pregnant. I'd be pissed too. Congrats to Lisa Marie and her family on the baby to be. I might be pregnant too and I am scared to death of blowing up like a balloon. I can't imagine the whole country calling me fat.

She always looks so "unhappy"...I think she is a "spoiled" little "diva" that needs a good "spanking"...She needs to get over herself...She has never been anything but "Elvis's" very "wealthy" daughter...Nothing else...

I agree with Blog Brat....why does she think that anyone will be obsessing over her wt. gain? I may pick up a rag, check it out and think to myself..hmm...bit of wt. gain. You can rest assured that it does not weigh heavy (pun intended) on my mind for longer than that fleeting moment, and I can assure Ms. Presley it does not have anyone else in a panic either. JUST announce the happy news & the papparazzi will "maybe" leave them along BUT NO, these celebrities go around making it a bigger deal & THEN it becomes a BIG DEAL...
I think those celebrities do that on PURPOSE because although they cry all the time about being hounded & have no privacy...they actually like being hounded...and have their picture taken & chased after...
Lastly, I am not a the papparazzi's side...I do not condone stories that are lies, unflattering or name-calling, etc...
Maybe if the papparazzi were nicer & alittle more tamed when gettting a story they might actually get alittle more cooperation from the other side...

You know, I don't know how many different ways or how many times I can say this. People like Lisa-Marie Presley were born into stardom. She certainly did not ask for it. Lisa-Marie strikes me as a very private (head-strong) intelligent lady.

I don't imagine she has had the easiest life. Money certainly could never pay for the life she led or some of the unfortunate things she had to see in her young life. We don't know the half of it. (Ha, ha, paparazzi, there are some things you can't get your hands on).

Then don't blame her if she comes across as a spoiled child. She was a spoiled child, (wake up people). Again, not her choice.

God damn it people, just leave the girl alone. I'm sure she would have let the press know when she was ready. But no, because they haven't gotten a statement, they have to make up things until she breaks.

I think this whole story is a PR stunt! I don't think anyone really cares if she is preggers or not. She is not a celebrity. She may be the daughter of Elvis, but that's it! This story will bring her and her mom some much wanted press. Her mother is going to be on Dances w/ Stars. They both are trying to drum up publicity for themselves. Lisa knew that making a statement like this would FINALLY make people acknowledge that she still exists. All PR people!

Pregnant people usually consider that state very private and even sacred. Anyone here annouce it to the papers when they were pregnant? I think a birth announcement is traditional.
