Madonna's Rep Debunks Breakup Rumors

madonnaguy.jpg
If you thought it was weird that Madonna arrived to her Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction without her husband, Guy Ritchie -- and failed to thank him in her record-breaking speech (it was the longest in R&R HOF history) -- you're not the only one.

Tons of media outlets have been speculating that Madge and her man are on the outs, having rarely been seen together in months. But the Material Girl's faithful publicist, Liz Rosenberg, says there's no story here.

"I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married," she said in a statement Monday. "Though they were in different countries recently – Madonna in the U.S. doing promotion for her upcoming album Hard Candy and Guy finishing up post production on his new film RocknRolla as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England – the family are joyfully back together at home in London."

Okay, if you say so, but I still think it's curious that Guy wasn't there for Madge's big night. Work or no work -- he could have flown over for the day. I'm not sure I believe everything is so peachy over there.

Maybe he is just trying to escape from the kabala cult she made him join and donate all his money.
I'd be freaked out if I were him.
The woman is nasty.

Madonna has always done exactly as she pleases. I am sure her marriage rules are no different. It would take a very strong and secure Guy ( ha ha) to be married to this icon.
My guess would be that he loves her :)

I'm not one of those women who believe being "in love" and committed means being joined at the hip 24-7 BUT there are occasions that your partner should be and is expected to be by your side. AND let's be real I love my girl Madonna but you know when she got inducted life for everyone around her stopped {at least from her point of view--Should!} and it was all about her. A movie?! Madge could care less she's worked her butt off for this moment and the fact hubby wasn't there when she's supported his flops says a lot. But I hope whatever it is they work it out.

If they are breaking up, I am surely disappointed.

I do believe that they are in fact breaking up. The last celebrity break-up rumor involved Britney and K-Fed. Britney's publicist denied the rumor...but look at them....Where are they now? In court fighting over their kids.

Yes, you shouldn't believe all that you read...but "Celebrity History" has shown us that there are sometimes truths to what is being said by the tabloids.

I rest my case...

Break up or not, really, do we need to know all the dirty little secrets of these celebrities? If their marrage is on the rocks, then let them have their privacy during a difficult time, if it isn't let them have their privacy anyway.

I think reporters should stay out of people personal life
and tend to theirs!

I think that reporters need to tend to thier own relationships
and leave others along!

i think the whole situation and everybody thinking negative is crazy and the kaballah is a spiritual direction to GOD not a cult and to be honest the Kaballah is not right to condemn or think negative of.
