Mario Lopez Gets in A Chorus Line
More questionable stars are hitting Broadway, as Saved By the Bell's Mario Lopez is reportedly headed to the Great White Way to take on the role of Zach in A Chorus Line.
"Every actor dreams about appearing on a Broadway stage. I have as well, and have been searching for the right time and opportunity," Mario said. "A Chorus Line is a legendary musical and I am so honored to have been chosen to join the amazing cast and be a part of the Broadway family."
Mario can definitely dance -- he was in the finals of last year's Dancing With the Stars -- but is that all it takes to make it on Broadway?
I guess it's more than what Nicole Richie has to offer, and she is reportedly in talks to star in Chicago. I'd like to be on Broadway -- my parents would be so proud -- any chance of that happening?
As for Mario, my girlfriends and I were just debating his cuteness this past weekend. I think we decided that he was hot, but he knows it, which makes him less hot. What do you guys think?

I agree, Tracy. When guys are arrogant, they become less attractive to me. I dated a guy that looked just like him and had that attitude. Needless to say it ended pretty fast. No woman wants a man that thinks he's hotter than her.
Although, I do remember my AC Slater days..ahhh, Zack was more my type though.

A lot of people forget that he was a member of "Kids Incorporated" (yeah the show that also brought us Martika, Fergie and Jennifer Love Hewitt) long before SBTB so he certainly has some talent and experience in the music field too - even if he was mainly the drummer on there.
As for looks - other than his body & dimples I don't think he has much going for him :-)
