He is a hottie. I saw his profile on millionaire&celeb dating site "WealthyRomance.com" last week. I am wondering what kind of relationship he is looking for on that site.

They shouldn't have double standards for who gets to stay and who doesn't. Frenchie needs to sue.

There are so many better singers than David H, he won't last long on the show anyhow! So I don't think we have alot to worry about.

Many who did not win in past seasons have gone on to to bigger and better things than those who did win! You people are just homophobic! Get over it!!!

Why not just let the past rest in peace. He's not even famous yet and people are already trying to dig up dirt. What matters is who he is today.

I think it's FOX just coming up with dirt so the show gets ratings. Anyone else find it funny that for the first few seasons there wasn't any dirt really on the contestants? Do you really think they just got lax on their background checks?

He is a nice looking guy and to put food on the table so you do what you have to. I also agree mommy that it is just FOX's way of getting some ratings. I wouldn't judge him for what he has done. It was a start in performing I guess so no biggy (no pun intended there).

I agree!! If you're that concerned then don't let your children watch it. I think 'bad parent" is going a bit far. But step up and be a parent if you think it's not suitable for your child/ren then say NO!! I think that you're going way overboard about it anyway Kasi, it's not like he's stripping while he's singing for god's sake. It's something that he's done in the past, so it should not even be relevant to American Idol. If you want to shield your child/ren from everyone who has done something that might be a tad over the top or not to your standards, then you had better keep them locked up indoors!

Kasi Marlowe: I agree with Jason. If you think there's something inappropriate about American Idol, dont let them watch it. I dont think he should get kicked off. He did it before the show. it's not like he did like antonella and was naked publicly during the AI season. We're supposed to put the past behind us so I'm glad they're doing the same for him. It shouldn't matter what they did before. Well, I do but depending on what it was then i think they should get a second chance.

I'm not homophobic. I'm just wondering why there is a double standard. Fox and AI producers made a big deal about "morals" when they removed Frenchie Davis from the show over some lingerie shots she'd done four years prior to auditioning for AI. This guy is currently a nude dancer, and that's okay with Fox & the producers of AI but 4-year-old lingerie shots weren't?

cc: That's my point exactly. I could care less that he's gay. I just can't understand why Frenchie's lingerie pics were so bad that they got her kicked off, but a good looking guy stripping nude is ok. Was it because she's overweight? Everyone can run around nude on the AI stage for all I care... I'm just saying they need to be consistent.

The only reason anyone is upset about David and his history as a stripper is because he is a male. Good god, do you know how many careers 'never would have been' had they not done a "lap dance" for the old days Studio Boss? The only difference is that there is no video to accompany the allegations.
Many a "starlet" screwed her way to the top! David is not even guilty of that....he was simply working for a living!
Oh, and for those of you concerned about Frenchie and the double standard......Not to worry.....She's too busy being a star in her own right....on Broadway!

I personally feel that David has great vocals, his notes are perfect and in place. Americal Idol is all about the capability to sing perfectly & perform, and David fits the bill. So, why are people so obsessed with his past?

We should respect his talents and we should not judge him.

I really don't care. He should be judged on the way he sing, not what he does on his spare time. Shoot, he might be able to give somebody some singing lessons and a lap dance. Lol!!

i think david is gorgeous but it doesnt matter what he looks like or what he use to do it all depends od the way he sings because when i first heard him i fell in love with him and his incredible voice i would do anything just to hear him sing just one more time but i know that in a couple years he will hit big time on his singing career but thats what i think of david i love him when he got voted off i cried but i still love him and his voice.
