Wanna bet his first wife that he cheated on to be with her thinks it's funny?
Which 1 is the guy?
Whick 1 is the GUY?
I have to agree -- wife #2 was the nanny that he dumped wife #1 for. Valerie must be having a good laugh at their expense.
HE HAS MADE SOME OF THE BEST, QUALITY MOVIES AROUND, sorry to hear about his broken marriage, at best, relationships are extemely difficult. I will be a fan of his till he hangs it up. Don't care about the other.
Every dog has his day. That's what happens when a guy takes up with the babysitter and leaves his wife and special needs child. Robin is an idiot .
Didn't she steal him from his first wife? I bet she's somewhere getting a kick out of this.
And members of the "First jilted wives club" are applauding! Karma..it will come back and get you!
Can't imagine how anyone puts up with this guy. Not a fan myself but still you want to feel bad for him & I would had he not been married when he met her. Amazes me it lasted as long as it did.
DIVORCE IS NOT FUNNY...BUT, HARD TO HANDLE..SAD..HEARTBREAKING. MY HEART GOES OUT TO BOTH..WILL ALWAYS BE A FAN OF ROBINS..HIS MARRIAGES AND HIS ACTING ABLILITY ARE TWO SEPERATE THINGS,,,HOPE HE IS A GOOD FATHER TO ALL HIS CHILDREN..THEY WILL SUFFER ALSO...
You cant be applauding becuase of karma. You could if the second marriage lasted a few months... but 19 years shows a lot of commitment involved. So to you all hating her/him because she was the nanny... consider the years of involvement it decrees that this wasnt a mere fling. As a side note... karma affects you when you reincarnate, not while you are still alive.
I'm with Scarlett, although I'm a fan of his, I also know Karma will come bite you whenever it feels like it. I've had it happen to me, and seen it happen to others. And Frank, you might want to think about your own karma, we wouldn't ever learn anything from it if it waited till our 'next life'. It may take a while, but it will get us before we die.
I usually don't respond to people on here but I had to respond to you, Frank. Whether it's 2 months or 19 years they both commited a sin. Not that I'm perfect, but nothing good ever comes from being selfish like that. They got theirs, whether it's called "karma" or not. Call it whatever you want, they built their relationship on sex, greed and deceitfulness. No healthy, lasting relationship starts out that way.
you guys are all dum who keep saying all this crap about the nanny and special needs and all that s*&% Just because he is an actor doesnt mean we all ahve to care about his stupid divorce, people are entitled to do whomever and whatever they want! who cares for god sakes... and yes thanks for clearing the karma comment up.. clearly karma will come back around on that person! gaad
'They couple have two children together.' Editor... please proof!
Nope, I agree with karma. I can only imagine the hurt and embarrassment his first wife felt when he was found having an affair with a much younger nanny. Even if they were married 19 years, it's about time he feels the pain his first wife felt. Any of us who have had a loving husband cheat, know the pain and embarrassment behind the deception. My ex had an affair after 25 years of marriage. He married the woman he was fooling around with in February 2006. Shortly after their marriage he found out he was terminally ill. She treated him badly until the very end. He died 4 months later.
"Actions do not create karma (good or bad) when performed by an individual in the state of Moksha or liberation. Such a person is called "Stithaprajna". The monist, Adi Sankara taught "Akarmaiva Moksha," which means "Moksha can be attained only by doing, not by a process of effort". All actions performed by one in the state of Moksha are called Dharma."
Obviously the origin of their relationship is an ill founded one, I am not arguing that. Was it a wrong to his first wife? Yes of course it was. I was merely saying that he got "poetic justice" more than karma in this instance. My mentioning of the 19 years was only applied because it lends itself to signify that they cared for each other, that it wasn't just a matter of lust. Lust based relationships tend to have the shortest life span because the fire burns out the quickest. And 19 years doesn't signify that it burnt out quickly at all. Does his first wife rejoice that it took a long 19 years to see her retribution come to be? I doubt it. I think she has, by now, moved on.
What would you prefer, him married to his first for another 19 years while he slept with his nanny, or that they finally got divorced and the first wife was set free from an uncaring man?
Holy geez, Frank. I just read that through twice and I STILL feel like an idiot.
Southpaw: I think Frank is saying when you fornicate in a drunken state It will come back to bite you in the ass as your local bartender has explained to you after your fourth cocktail with your babysitter, or something like that. Most of us have at one time or another "been there-done it", except for the Methodists.
dr, you always manage to make me laugh!
Frank, agreed. At least we can all agree it's a sh*tty situation all around. Forgive the obscenities! ; )
Even though he did that, Robin Williams is still one of my favorite comedians. Mrs. Doubtfire will always be on our tv when it airs, if not for him, then for Pierce Brosnan!
Dharma comes first---then Karma.
I used to get that mixed up too--
until I looked it up one day.
He is not the first man who left his wife for another woman, and he won't be the last. Just like "the nanny" was not the first "other" woman! It happens IRL everyday!! Kudos to their marriage lasting 19 years, which seems to be a miracle in society today, whether you are a star or not. I am sure his first wife moved on MANY years ago.
This man and his ex-skanky nanny lover, (who put the moves on him while his trusting wife allowed her into her home to take care of her children) deserve no good in life. I'm glad that they are miserable. They caused misery to a poor innocent woman and her children. KARMA!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't care about all of the 19 years or months or days. I hope those 2 cheating evil people suffer the way they made a poor innocent woman and her child suffer. Whether it's Karma or not I don't believe they deserve happyness and if it took 19 years for them to get their payback from life's consequences then I'm glad. Plus I got such a head ache for the Moksha and stath....something. I don't like specifics and keep it in the universal language ENGLISH please we don't all speak Hindu or whatever language that was.
they look like twins
If Karma affects us when we reincarnate, but not when we are alive, then wouldn't this need to be your first incarnation then Frank?
I thought you were an older soul than that..
