The Hills Premiere Smashes Records
The Hills are alive and well, people. Very well.
The drama-filled reality show's Monday premiere knocked the ratings right out of the park, according to MTV. The stats say that Lauren, Heidi and Audrina had an average of 4.7 million viewers, was the most watched program across all of TV for viewers aged 12 to 34, and was the highest rated cable telecast of 2008.
Holy crap! We're a bunch of addicts. But there are two things that bother me about this:
1) Somehow, I'm sure, Spencer Pratt thinks this is all because of him
2) I'm right at the end of that age bracket
Once I hit 35 is it socially unacceptable for me to keep watching? Will I only be allowed to watch the Over the Hills version?
If you were one of the (very) few who missed the premiere, check out my recap in TV Cocktail.
