Gary is one of my few favorite actors and still is. Honestly, I do agree that celebs have lots of money and sometimes, they just throw it away for stupid crap. BUT, we do forget that sometimes, these celebs are only human and they go threw a significant amount of pressure to keep their status, keep the endorsements coming and they have to get paid. Actors and actresses do work hard to get where they are and although, we contribute to their celebrity reputation, all the hard work comes from them. Who wouldn't turn to drugs? I'm not advocating it but we are no saints in this world and I'm sure over sixty percent of the population tried something before because of stress and being burnt out.

I really hated to to see this happen. He was one of my favorites. What a terrible waste...poor guy. I hope he gets his life straigntened out...sounds like he needs help......and most of all, prayers.

If he needs someplace to stay he can stay with me. He do not have to sleep in the car. He can sleep with me anyday of the week. SO he had a little drugs in the car. Who says they are not someone who was sleep in the car as well. Where is the trace evedence? I am just saying noone seen the show last night. It was not his faut.

I am sorry to hear about Gary he was a good actor and I will keep him in my prayers. Sometimes actors get cause up in what is a actor's part and what is real. I look at CSI show last night where he was taking pills and stated he was taking them to keep awake and he was question about the pills he was taking and why???? by he coworker. He looked for real high on drugs. He is a great actor, hope this will turn his life around.

CoolLinda -you are right. People shouldn't just write him off because he "may" have a drug problem. Look at Robert Downey. Also, if he had all that stuff in his car (that's a pretty dangerous cocktail) it may be a blessing in disguise that he got caught, so he can get some help and get back on track. He is a good actor, and fine too.
But I am not really hip though on what's happeninig with his career. He was already getting booted from CSI BEFORE this incident, right?
Maybe he can get a job on Law and Order.

All of you should know from watching CSI and Law & Order, someone is "innocent till proven guilty". One would need
a blood test to prove if they were in his system. My Gosh! You guys have him kicked off the show.And, some of you are moving on to another show all because of this. Calm down! Give the guy a break!

It saddens my heart greatly that he is apparently running away from something that causes him enough pain to want to be numb...but hey come on guys..there is not one of us here that has not messed up or that does not have secrets...Instead of being a hypocrit and putting him down i want to be the kind of person that takes a moment to try and understand and embrace the situation as it is...People do those kind of drugs to be numb...i ask God for healing for him and inner peace...maybe this will open his eyes and he will return to being the man we all assumed he was and that he probably is...we all fall short...Thanks for listening...

So he made a mistake like we all haven't a time or two....he probably will be critized for all of this..... but no one knows the real story behind it but him.... Hooray "CoolLinda" You are right although he MIGHT have a drug problem he's human and who wouldn't do drugs being under all that pressure. Look at how many GREAT actors have been on drugs. Thier only human just like any one else.

Wow alot like Warrick on the last episode before the strike, he was all jacked up with that stripper! But ya know we all do stupid shit, the only reason its even a big deal is because he's some what famous cause of CSI!

they rescued the Sarah character and she wanted to leave town or something.But anyway,I hope he gets it together,he's so cute.

People shouldn't be to quick to judge other people, it shows

Addiction is an Illness. You folk who are saying " Just say NO" Don't really have a clue. I Think Gary is an intelligent, thoughtful person. Obviously he's in trouble. But to say, hey stupid, hire a driver, is missing the whole point. People who are suffering from this disease don't process information properly, they make bad decision after bad decision. There is no doubt in my mind that he has an addiction problem. You don't get caught with heroin in your car unless you are out of control.
That does not make me think less of him, nor his acting ability...I love his character and I think he's a good actor.
I hope that the producers of CSI keep him on. Heck, I once worked for a boss who was such an alcoholic that they had to insure him driving company vehicles for a cool million dollars.

WoW it is so nice to see postings that are not killing the guy off. Yes I like him too. When I heard the story he was the first person I thought of, why I don't know. It is so sad to hear but with all the pressure and those idoits that have nothing better to do but take pictures and follow these actors around. You know, we all screw up. I am a recovering addict (8 years now) and if people had thrown me away and instantly thought that I was a good-for-nothing human being, I would not be here today. I believe everyone should have a chance in life to fix the wrong. I've been given many chances and I'm still working on fixing the wrong.....its a "One Day At A Time" deal. Don't judge him by his actions....NOT ONE OF YOU ARE PERFECT!!!!! The only One who is Perfect died on a cross over 2000 years ago.....

He is a great actor and I hope they do not kick him off the show for this. I pray for him and all the people dealing with drug addictions. I pray that all these famous people will stop abusing the privileges they have and use this for positive measures instead of drugs and distructive behavor and addictions. I can not imagine the stress of having no privacy in the world but come on use your tlents and money for good not to slowly kill yourselves!!!!!

i am a recovering addict. Gary will keep doing what he is doing as long as he can with few if any consequences. He first must admit he has a problem and then humble himself enough to ask for help. For some addicts, jail is a bottom, for others institutions (treatment) is their bottom and then there are some whose bottom is death. I hope and pray that last won't be the case for Gary.

To the first person to comment, there is a big difference between a simple stoner and someone with HEROIN ECSTASY COKE AND PILLS. I really wish this guy good luck and hope he gets better. He's a good actor.
