Gossip Girl Gets HOT!

omfg2.jpg

Yowza! Check out the new promo posters for the new episodes of Gossip Girl, set to burn up your DVR beginning on April 21st.

I tell ya, if you had forgotten what you love about the show, this certainly will remind you, but sources say insiders are a tad worried about the text language used on the poster. According to TVguide.com, two versions of the ad are being produced by The CW: one with Serena and Nate (the hotness above) and a second with Blair and Chuck. Also, the "F" in the "OMFG" will only appear in select locations.

What do you think about the "F" in "OMG"? Is it too much? Too racy? Not enough? Just right? Tell me.

Meanwhile, I'd like to order 500 of these. All of a sudden I'm thinking about wallpapering my bedroom.

Why would you want to wallpaper with a poster of 2 teenagers having sex???

Really? said:

Um, they only play teenagers and I'm pretty sure Tracy was making a joke. If she really needs to start explaining things all the time it's going to take all the fun out of the blog.

Love it! Looking forward to seeing the one with Blair and Chuck...

LuvMyJolie: You're really missing out, I'm in my late 20's and still enjoy the show. I realize its about teens, but its one of those show's that you get a kick out of and somehow at the same time wish you could relive your high school years all over again like them! :)

lol AWESOME i'm def gonna watch now, im 23 and the OC made me miss highschool so i cant imagine how much this shows gonna make me miss it. My mom always told me "ur gonna wish u were still in highschool" in reply to me saying I CANT WAIT TO GRADUATE AND MOVE OUT!

yeah, i'm uncool. While i think OMFG is awesome and made me giggle around my lunch. it does bother me that they are supposed to be teenagers. i know that teenagers have sex. i'm not dumb. but it sends the message that sex is something to rush to. something glamerous. something that everyone normal does at such a young age. sex is everywhere i know, but this is pushing the envelope a little too far for people who are too young in my opinion.

By the looks of it, this should air on HBO! Wow, it's hot and all, but I seriously thought it was a joke.

I enjoy the show but I'm in my 20s. I do think the poster and the subsequent glamorization of young sex sends the wrong message to younger viewers. Since a good portion of their viewership are young, I think they need to tread lightly. That being said, I personally feel that the show is too mature for anyone under the age of 16. My mom thought 90210 was bad, I can't imagine what she would think of this. LOL

TOO sick. he's looks like he's sucking the life out of her through her toots(i shall not say the actual word) and S looks like she doesn't really want to do it. The 'F' in the 'OMG'...NO!
i mean they're all great actors and all, but this for a POSTER. It is going to be there forever! PRINTED! I wouldn't like to look at it everywhere I go-I would like to have a 'clean' world for once. But maybe they're not doing it. But the 'F' in the 'OMG', now that is what i wouldn't want. At all.

I love gossip girl and I was kind of surprised about the poster. I mean, when I watched E news I laughed, and my dad was there hahaha. The 'F' in 'OMG' I think is not something to worry about because everybody knows it and if not, will eventually learn about it. But seriously these posters can be seriously distracting when you suddenly see them when you're crossing the street. Hahaha.

I somewhat agree with Pretty in Pink. I am in my mid-30s!! I LOVE this show. All the actors are adults so I can enjoy it and not feel weird. Must say, the dad, Rufus, he's a hottie, too! And to have a Melrose vixen playing a mom, is fun, too. However, the F makes it cheap and profane. We all know what it means and yes, it's probably right on for what a typical teen would write. But, as a parent, I wouldn't feel anyone under 16 should watch unless very mature. They really need to know that life is NOT like this. Teens have sex but it sure isn't like this. It's a great fantasy world for this adult but it is aimed at kids and they should be somewhat careful or move to HBO.
But, I might buy a poster or two :)
