Heath Ledger's "Ex" Speaks Out On Rumored "Love Child"

heathledgerdead.jpg
A story broke earlier in the week that Heath Ledger may have fathered a child when he was 17. Now, the woman who was said to maybe be the mother to a second Heath baby is speaking out -- and she's not saying what you might have thought.

"I'm not answering anything," the unnamed woman told The Daily Mail. "I think it's very, very rude that I'm being posed all of this. I really do. I can't talk about anything."

The woman says her main concern is that of her daughter, who may or may not be Heath's. "When you are considering an 11-year-old girl who has to go to school and be a part of society, that is my main concern," she said. "You have no proof, there's no background, there's no grounds, there's no nothing."

Props to this lady for not wanting to cash in on the possibility that her maybe-babydaddy was a movie star.

The woman's husband supports his wife's claims that Heath is not the girl's father. "The whole thing with that is no," he said. "No way. No can be. It would probably be a great thing if she was, but no."

Interesting -- totally not the way I saw that going.

I don't think so too. Heath is a good guy. It is said that he is dating friends on a millionaire dating site called meetingwealthy. His photos and profile are found there.

Well, does this woman know who is the father? It just seems she would mention that to whoever is making the accusations. I suppose her husband is taking on that role and that's really what matters..I give her props.

To the spammers: What the HELL??? You guys never even make sense!!! Especially this time for obvious reasons, FRANKIN!

Good for this woman. She is putting her child first.

Spammers you are not messing with anybody, so who gives a flip.

That is the sign of a good parent. Kudos to her.

then how did this all come up? if she is saying it's not who said it was? this whole story seems off...

"The whole story seem off ... " as Ang put it. Now, why might that be? Could it be that totally irresponsible media are practicing their disgusting trade all over the world today. NOBODY vets these stories before they're released.
NOBODY will vet them until a fat lawsuit is brought against any "media mogul" who allows this crap to be disseminated. I'm all for freedom of the press ... as much as I truly believe in the necessity for separation of church and state in the U.S.A. BUT, until a fundamental change is made, I'm believing damned little of what I see and hear on radio and TV ... and precious little of what comes out in the print media I peruse! Thanks to the paparazzi attitude displayed by too many of the hacks in today's media, I doubt there'll be any substantive change at any point soon. Don't hold your breath, Ang. They will fail you ... and they will continue. You see, they have no shame!

Ang, Heath's uncle told the media: http://dailyblabber.ivillage.com/entertainment/archives/2008/03/does-heath-ledger-have-another.html

Lewis, 1) how does freedom of the press have much to do with separation of church and state? 2) It was the Australian media that first released the story http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,23455968-5001021,00.html. 3) They attributed the statement to Heath's uncle. Though I do believe that journalists need to report responsiblym, to some degree, it is up to the reader to decide on the credibility of a quoted source, particularly if a story appears in a gossip column.

I didn't even read the rest of the comments, I'm with Bella! The rest of us are on here cause we, on some level, care about what is going on with these celebs. People like 'frankin' ruin things for the rest of us. It's spam, pure and simple, and should be stopped. I've nearly stopped coming to this site because of such posts, and will probably never come here again after this. It's a shame, that sites like this, that need us to want them, let themselves be used by such sad beings.

sorry to burst your irritating advertising bubble frankin but unfortunately Heath died a while ago and so cannot date anyone using your rubbish site or otherwise

I'm getting sick and tired of the constant "bs" about these alleged millionaire websites. PLEASE frankin explain to me how "he is dating friends on a millionaire dating site called meetingwealthy" WHEN HE'S DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I think the spammers are autometd so replying to them is a waste of time. The website itself needs a spam blocker or something.

Really, who cares if Heath fathered a child when young. As long as that child is loved and cared for, it should not matter who the father.

Good on the mother for protecting her child from all the media hype!
