Jerry Seinfeld's Crazy Car Crash
Jerry Seinfeld is a very lucky man -- besides for the obvious reasons.
The comedian walked away unharmed from a pretty nasty car crash on Saturday. According to the New York Post, Jerry was driving his two-door 1967 Fiat BTM in East Hampton, NY, when his brakes failed. He thought fast and reportedly tried the emergency brake but, when that failed, too, he had to swerve of the road to keep the car from getting on to the highway. The vintage Italian vehicle flipped over, but, amazingly, Jerry walked away without even needing medical attention.
"He was a little shocked when he walked in and it started to dawn on him what happened," his wife, Jessica, told the newspaper. "It could have been a lot worse, obviously, and thank God it wasn't. He's fine."
And Jerry, of course, manage to keep his sense of humor regarding the accident. "Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do," he said. "It is not something I plan to make a habit."
Take it easy, Jer. Maybe invest in a Ford Echo.

That's awesome..just another reminder that the one thing we all can do is ALWAYS wear our seat belts. I know I'm the worst at forgetting.
My daughter gets after me all the time about wearing my seatbelt. Glad he's alright.
Glad he is OK, he is one of my favorites.
I always knew that Jerry was blessed and lead a charmed life - and this proves it. The guy really is Superman.
If you have ever seen anyone take their last breath from an accident you will buckle up without any second thought, it's not pretty.
dr, are you talking about your daughter? Must be hard. God Bless!
He must have been reading another cookbook he wanted to plagarize and steal while driving and lost control.
Sandy, what an awful thing to say on the subject. Since, really, its NOT anything about the subject at all.
Glad he is doing well, and didn't get hurt. I've been in a couple crashes-head on one without a seatbelt- since that day 16yrs ago I NEVER go without a seatbelt. The other two times I was hit from behind, my injuries were MUCH less severe because I did, in fact, have my sealtbelt on.
If that had happened to me, I probably would've panicked at the time and not thought about even trying the emergency brake- so that was quick thinking on his part! Altho it didn't work at least he tried it.
Wonder WHAT was wrong with his car that his brakes didnt work nor the emergency brake? sounds like maybe someone tampered with them both.........things that make you go hmmm
y dint u die u fag!
