Kanye West's Ex Speaks Out on Broken Engagement
Kanye West and longtime girlfriend Alexis Phifer have broken up -- putting plans to marry to rest -- but the woman scorned is not dissing her ex. In fact, she's being super classy about the whole thing.
"It's always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends,” Alexis told People.com. "I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met."
Sources say that Kanye has been majorly wrapped up in his career, specifically his new "Glow in the Dark" tour, and hadn't been making much time for Alexis. The pair, who had gotten engaged in 2006, just couldn't make it work, but kudos to Alexis for taking the high road. It's nice to see exes who can have a mutual respect for each other even after things don't pan out the way they expected.

It's a shame that some people only look for dirt & bad blood between people to make their lives look rosier...YES, Kanye is E X T R E M E L Y talented. You never know what either of their futures hold. It is refreshing to encounter people that were truly in love & share those feelings whether they are together or apart. God bless them both!~

I agree with "unique" them two belong together and they are bound to be with each other again, even though it seems like she broke his heart in the songs that he has made (love lock down,heartless, &coldest winter) the media didn't hear her side of the story, regardless she carries a big part of his life so I don't think this is the end of them especially if they are still talking..
