Possible Child Endangerment Charges For Richie Sambora
Richie Sambora's recent arrest for DUI may just be the beginning of the bad news for the Bon Jovi guitarist.
According to a source from the Laguna Beach Police Dept., two misdemeanor counts have been requested against Richie -- one for driving under the influence and one for child endangerment. You see, when Richie was stopped by police last month his daughter with Heather Locklear, Ava, 10, was in the car.
So, what does it mean that the charges have been "requested"?
"All that means is the police department has requested these charges against him and it was sent over to the district attorney's office," the source tells UsMagazine.com. "It does not mean that he is officially charged, the DA has the final decision on that."
Richie is scheduled to appear in court on May 7.
You know what I find interesting? We haven't heard a word from Heather about this. Can you imagine if this was a Denise Richards/Charlie Sheen situation? They'd be taking out full page ads in Variety to curse each other out.

Hopefully, this guy will learn his lesson from this. He's just lucky he didn't hurt his little girl (or someone else) while he was driving intoxicated. I read someplace that his BAC was pretty gosh darn high too.
How could you have ''read'' that when the police haven't released that information and he hasn't been charged with anything yet JW?
No one knows what his BAL was yet so please don't make assumptions.

I think Richie should have to be accountable for his actions
in the car ( a hummer yet) regardless.
His daughter and a friend apparently were in the vehicle.
They are so lucky to not have been hurt, and to not have demolished anyone else.
He needs to lose his drivers license. Why is that so hard to figure out.
I for one do not want to give people like him keys to a hummer and say, boys will be boys...yeah right.
There is no excuse for this, if you are going to drink, first of all, get someone sober to mind the kids, then
take a taxi how difficult is that to figure out?
I hope they "burn" his "ass" for this...
The reason that it hasn't gone like a Denise/Charlie situation is because Heather has never been an attention seeking airhead like Denise. Heather, thank God seems to one of the few level headed parents in Hollywood. It's a shame Ritchie has gone off the tracks, just goes to show...When you're on a good thing stick with it.
