Richie Sambora's Shout Out to Fans
Richie Sambora has had a rough go of it, the last six months or so, and the rocker felt the need to thank his fans for standing by him.
After being in and out of rehab twice last year, and getting arrested last week for suspicion of DUI (with his daughter in the car!), Richie was back on stage at Bon Jovi's Denver concert last night, where he showed his love to the crowd.
Near the end of the show, Jon Bon Jovi introduced his partner to the screaming crowd, then left the stage. Richie used his solo time to talk to his fans. "Hello Denver," he said. "I just want to thank everyone for their support. Sometimes friends need the help of their friends to get by. This next song is one that keeps coming back in my life and is current again ... ."
Then he sang "These Days."
I wish I was there.

OK, I'm goign to stand by him. At least he's a celeb who recognized his mistake and acknowledged it and is dealing. Bravo!

Wow, I wish I had been there for that. These Days is one of Bon Jovi's songs that hits me hard every time I hear it. Not a Top 10 or one of their most recognizable songs, but definitely one of their best. I am glad that Richie owned up to his mistake and I hope he's learned from it. I can't wait to attend their concert in Los Angeles next Wednesday! It'll be my first Bon Jovi concert in years!
WOW now I think totally different about Richie. I did not know his daughter was in the car with him. There is nooooooo excuse to drive drunk and especially with your child. These
rich people need to use some of the money to call a cab or limo to give them a ride instead of driving. I do not understand why anyone rich would ever drive.....
