Star Jones Files For Divorce!
America's favorite couple is splitting!
I'm totally kidding -- well, not about the split, but about them being America's favorite couple. Star Jones has filed for divorce from husband Al Reynolds, after three-and-a-half years of marriage.
"Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce," Star revealed to Entertainment Tonight. "The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."
Something never seemed right between those two, anyway. Their wedding was a big spectacle and the whole marriage appeared to be pretty staged. Now Star can out her her big lollipop head back on the market and find a new man.

I always thought he seemed gay anyways... who cares, never thought they would last until death anuyways! Now go get u a manly man Star!
I bet she feels stupid now! Divorce sucks but I don't have much sympathy for her when she treated her marriage like just another pay check.

They don't call him "Big Gay Al" for nothin!
She should have to give back all the presents she received AND pay for what she got at the wedding! She's such a moose.
Wow...all that bragging and hoopla over her victory at winning the perfect man!!!
What a sad sham full of pretense and haughtiness
. Remember when she was AOL's Relationship Coach, instructing women on how to find a man??
Looks like Star got hers.
Wow. I mean, granted I always thought he was gay but I'm somewhat shocked at the amount of hate on this board. I mean, pretty much every woman thinks she's found the perfect man when she gets married and many run around doling out advice on finding and keeping a man. One of my girlfriends just got married this past weekend and in the weeks leading up to the wedding she's been full of advice. How to find a man, how to get him to marry you, what to do while you're still single, etc. I mean, sure it can be a bit much but it's really just par for the course.
Furthermore, why should she give back her presents? Does anyone else? She's been married for years, it's high time for everyone to get a life and get over it. Lots of people milk their wedding for all it's worth and rack up as many gifts and as much money as possible. It's hardly the end of the world. Besides, it's not like one red cent came out of your pocket.
Stars no bargain and a manly man would throw rocks at her.
From the beginning I thought he was in it for the money, but who am I to say. I actually have no idea what he even does for a living. Hope she doesn't gain her weight back.
prettypink, you said it best and with class. sure, they both seemed annoying and vacuous in their own ways, and yes, al is gay. but to be so mean because a woman found who she thought was her soulmate, is just catty. sure, she did her wedding big.. in her mind, she thought it wouldn't happen, at the time, she was in her early 40's. so what if it was all glitzy, she liked it that way. honestly, i don't see why she infuriates so many people, enough to make vicious comments about her. in this day and age, we have soooooooo many other people to make our blood boil, and in my opinion, star jones isn't one of them.
LOL! Damn Tracy, That Lollipop comment was off the hook!!! Hella funny!!!
She's going to "handle this situation with dignity and grace"...? It's got to be better than the way she practically panhandled the public to pay for her wedding....I wonder if she even knows the meaning of the words dignity and grace...
Such haters, during a sad time in a persons life. Divorce is the death of a relationship. NOONE can say they've been free from a failing relationship or broken heart. Where's your heart? So she showed the world she loved a man and married him and had a large wedding. She not the first, nor will she be the last. We're ALL guilty of thinking it would last.
