Whitney Houston Responds to Bobby Brown's Drug Claims
We told you yesterday that Bobby Brown has written a tell-all autobiography, in which he has a chapter dedicated to ex-wife Whitney Houston. In the trash-talkin' book, The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothin' But, Bob says he never did crack and cocaine until he met Whit -- and that she only married him to improve her image.
Yeah, I know, we laughed, too.
Anyway, Whitney is responding to Bobby's book claims, but the singer, who is slated for a comeback, is trying to be the bigger person. "Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels the need to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it's to set the record straight," Whit's rep said in a statement.
Why bother? These two have been so nasty to each other, even when they were married, is there really anything left to say?

I HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER THAT KNOW THE HOUSTON FAMILY AND SOME OF WHAT BOBBY IS SAYING IS TURE. IT IS TRUE THAT WHITNEY WAS USING COCAINE BEFORE SHE MET BOBBY, HOWEVER I KNOW SOMEONE THAT ALSO USE TO PLAY BASKETBALL WITH NEW EDITION AND WHEN BOBBY WAS FIRED FROM THE GROUP IT WAS BECAUSE THE GROUP CAUGHT BOBBY SMOKING CRACK COCAINE. I FEEL THAT BOTH OF THEM ARE THE BLAME FOR THE WAY THEIR LIVES TURN OUT TOGETHER. THE ONLY THING THAT IS SAD IS THAT THEIR DAUGHTER HAD TO WITNESS IT ALL.
It matters so little of what has been in the past as far as this couples goes. It does however speak loudly about the negative integrity that Mr. Brown exhibits after being wed to a woman that cared enough to give birth to his daughter, bail his sorry behind out from over due child support payments to the OTHER baby mama in his poor misdirected life.
It is overly obvious as to what he represents and I feel he is a fool and a selfish, unattractive indiviual to attempt to use his life with Whitney and his daughter to feather his weedy nest. More power and kudos to Whitney for being a smart and strong woman to pull herself out of and away from this NEGATIVE individual.
