Who's Starring in the New 90210?
Not Hilary Duff.
Though reports surfaced that Hil was approached to play the Brenda Walsh on the new 90210 spinoff, insiders say the former teen queen has passed on the role, in hopes to break out of the young girl genre that she is always cast in.
I think it's a bad move.
Anyway, someone who is jumping on the Bev bandwagon is former Full House star Lori Loughlin. She'll play the wife of the new principal of West Beverly High, who would probably lock horns with Jennie Garth, if she would just SIGN ON TO PLAY KELLY.

I do think it was a mistake for her to pass on the role. That show might take off and boost the careers of its young stars. These girls never cease to amaze me with this whole "breaking out" thing. I could see if she was like 25 and still getting these roles but she's not.
I also think it's a mistake for Duff to pass on this. On a different note, how is it that Lori Loughlin looks younger than she did 15 years ago?
If this is a spinoff, why are they replacing OLD roles with new people? I must have missed something someplace along the way. Loved 90210 though!
What is these networks thinking. Why remake shows from 1o to 15 years ago. TV gets so old and people are interested in new shows and not old remakes.
