I really do agree with you one the issue of celebrities needing to give more and keep less. Makes sense.

You are doing a good job of clarifying how relative it all is.

If I make $1 and give 50 cents to help the even less fortunate, then that is relatively more ( morally ) than someone who makes 10,000,000 and gives one tenth or so, however, I do believe that the 1,000,000 donation as a write off or whatever still helps...probably more than my 50 cents.
There is the catch.

So we can't disregard what they do give, only wish they gave more relative to their income...
