I thought him asking her out was really cute. Of course, I'm in love with him, too, but he deserves happiness and since I'm married it won't be with me. They are a cute couple. I'm happy for them.

I have to stick up for Bella, I think he is a great singer and all, but that is as far as it goes. I don't think he is cute. At all.

He may not be Ricky Martin gorgeous, but David has a smile that just grabs your heart. He has an AMAZING, incredibly versatile voice, but that's not even all of it. His humility and the way he carries himself makes him so majorly sexy and appealing. Plain and simple, he is a class act with a vocal quality that grabs a person's soul and such a level of empathy and compassion that you find yourself in love with him before you even know it. I hope Kimberly is someone who can appreciate and value that. I wish them so much happiness. They're an adorable couple!

Ok, I will say that Kim Caldwell is a very pretty girl....until she opens her mouth. I have never liked how she presents herself and the Idol preshow she does. She comes across as being very self-centered, obnoxious and ditzy. I am actually surprised that the "word nerd" would fall for someone like her. But, maybe he is just enamoured by his new-found celebrity status OR that he is a typical healthy young male acting on a beautiful girls' comments that she "...wants to make out with David Cook ALOT and probably will" which she openly stated on television! I see him ending up dating someone with substance and not a "past". So, for now, let him celebrate!

I think everybody deserves to go out and have some fun. It's been one date... it's not like they ran off to Vegas the first time they met. They're young, they're gorgeous, and they both have every right to be out together. He certainly deserved a night out after focusing on the Idol competition for the last few months. And whoever is saying he's not good looking, you should probably go get your vision problem checked out soon.

Mary: You are a wise woman. You hit the nail on the head. He is 25 years old...let's go easy here with him. She is beautiful, but everything you said about her is true. David will find this out and that will be that. Her past is nothing to be proud of. I don't think David knows all about that as yet, but he may not care, if you know what I mean.
Our David will be just fine. Hope he gets out of L.A. soon. There are a lot more girls like her out there. He will hopefully wind up with some one he can really talk to...not just..well, you know.

I'm also "in love" with David Cook, but I'm a happily married woman! It seems to be a trend. He is defintely sexy and super talented. I've been buying his songs on iTunes... Kimberly does seem like a ditz, but he is young and having fun, plus he is a real GUY (that's what we love about him), of course he is going to go for a hot girl who has been lusting after him. But like the last two posts said, he is a down-to-earth guy and will move on eventually..
