I just think if two people are committed to eachother, there is no reason why they can't be "married". These two have been together for 4 years, which is longer than a lot of marriages even last. I don't have a problem with the gay marriage thing either, because I believe committment, trust, and loyalty mean so much more. My husband and I totally disagree on this subject. I know a lot more women who are open to the idea than I do men. I don't mean that in a sexist way at all; it's just fact in my circle of friends. I hope they stay together.

I think this is a wonderful thing. I'm so happy for Ellen and Portia. I am 110% for gay marrige. It's not like we heterosexuals have done such a great job at marriage anyway. I think that if you are lucky enough to find someone to love, then you should be able to be married, regardless of if it's someone of the opposite sex or the same sex. Yeah for California finally waking up. I don't think that the states should be legislating against anyone getting married.

When Loretta said thank God for the California Supreme Court giving them the rights to get married, she should not thank God because He had nothing to do with it. If it was left up to God, there would be no homosexuality at all. The Bible strictly forbids it and God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah over this.
