Jamie Lynn Spears Home With Baby
The newest Spears mama is home, as Jamie Lynn and baby Maddie Briann were released from the hospital late Friday night. Taken from Mississippi to their family's home in Kentwood, LA. by a police escort (hey, where was my police escort when my kid was born?), JL and her little bundle of joy were said to be "catching up on their rest."
"They're doing terrific," a source told People.com. "The baby's got 10 fingers and 10 toes ... and a full head of hair. She's long, a tall baby, and she weighs 7 lbs, 11 oz."
Apparently Casey Aldridge's (Maddie's daddy) mom -- and new grandma, Joyce Aldridge -- says that the tot got at least one feature from her pops. She "has Casey's toes," the Nana insisted.
Yessiree, she's got his toes -- let's hope she's gotten that Aldridge keen sense of observation as well.

Poor child, she looks so stressed out. Where is her family? They should be doing this stuff for her. I'm really appalled by the lack of support from her family.
Im pretty sure this is a pre-birth pic...i could be wrong though..but Im pretty sure Ive seen this one before...lol cause yeah it would be sad for her to have to go shop a few days after giving birth..and Im sure her family was with her..and still are...I know Brit was there..well thats what i read here anyways

shut up about celebrating teen pregnancy. its happenning so much these days that it almost seems normal. we are just saying that we are glad she is ok and doing well. and no i dont have any kids so that not why i am saying this. im 21 and just have taken caution but dont judge people cuz 1 day u could be in a bad situation and u wont want people judging you over it.
I think she looks like she wished the damn photographers would leave her the hell alone.
If you don't want the paps going into your personal life you don't go into show biz. Now a days teens cant keep their legs shut just as they couldn't in the 50's & 60's but back then they wouldn't be supported by working peoples tax dollars.
Sending a bad message to the NORMAL kids out there...
It's not judgmental to say that she shouldn't be having a baby at 16 or 17 years old...she should be having the time of her life...I'm 27 and married and raising my first child, so I know how hard it is...you make grown-up choices, you end up with grown-up responsibilities

Until you've been a teenager in that postion SHUT UP!! She got pregnant ( and so did Casey) and she's doing what your soppose to do,step up. Good luck Jamie lynn and Casey:) And the paps don't have any right to mettle in anyones lives, everyone has a God given RIGHT to privacy.
Let's start following them and their loser family's around, see if they think it's OK.
I feel bad for her. It is going to be a tough road. There needs to be more education surrounding this issue. Teen pregnancy is way out of control. I'm curious to see if The Baby Borrowers helps.
Wishing her the best. Though this pregnancy surely was unplanned and came as a shock as they are both so young, I am surprised at how mature she has handled everything so far, moving out of the spotlight(as far as the paps would let her at least), finishing High School early... So I do hope she can continue coping with the challenges, the will surely get bigger as the baby grows, and at some time educate teenagers about teen pregnancies, though perhaps she is not an ideal example, as she has money to buy babysitters and all the baby necessities.
I'm asking myself if the teen pregnancy problem would be less, if education were different in school. Back in high school, in my English class, we had to write essays about why you should not have sex before marriage. But this is so out of the world, when you look around and know that all these kids are having sex anyway, and instead of teaching them how to use contraceptives, they all end up either having abortions or havign a baby as teenagers.
