Reese & Ryan Finalize Divorce
Reese Witherspoon is free to tie the knot with Jake Gyllenhaal anytime she wants.
The actress' divorce from ex, Ryan Phillippe, is a done deal. According to court documents dated June 12, it seems Reese and Ryan have worked out all the details on their finances and their kids' custody.
"[The court finds] the parties have settled all their remaining issues in these proceedings," the papers said.
The couple, who split after being married for seven years, were seeking a shared custody arrangement over children Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4.

I do hope the get married, they look so cute and happy together, I really think the two are meant to be. I suppose Ryan and Reese were to different in character, but Reese and jake seem to harmonize really well. And for some reason, in all the more recent pics I see of Ryan, I don't think he's all that hot anymore, at least he's never regained the looks he had in Cruel Intentions.

I think we've changed. I remember years ago, when Ryan first came to my attention and I thought that pouty, sullen sulking look was sexy. But then I became more mature. Now I just think he might be constipated. He never looks happy and he is always frowning as if he is just so put up on. Like the world is imposing on him. Jake, on the other hand looks relaxed and happy most of the time. Jake is at peace with himself and he seems like a kind person. Ryan looks like he might be rude to you.

She just got her divorce settled, why would she want to get married right away? Why is it that people have to marry at the drop of a hat? That's why if they did marry in a few years it would be those 2 going thru a divorce. Hollywood couples should realize if they took it more seriously, they may actually last a while.

Even if I consider Jake Gyllenhaal a better boy friend and a sexier guy compared to Ryan Phillippe, I still think they could have tried and save their family. A marriage counselor could have helped them. I think it would have been the best option for their children.
