Are Madonna & Miley Cyrus Two Peas In A Pod?

Miley Cyrus may have had some minor bumps in the road in the last few months, but I would never go as far as to compare with the Queen of Controversy, Madonna.
Brett Ratner disagrees, as the director, who has worked with Madge on her "Beautiful Stranger" video and has just done Miley's "7 Things" vid, says these ladies have a lot in common.
"She turns it on,” the filmmaker told E! News, of Hannah Montana. “A lot like Madonna.”
“Where a lot of other artists are nervous or they’re primping, you know, Madonna walks on and is casual; cameras are on her and then all of the sudden, wow!” Brett said. “Same thing with Miley. She’s hanging out, she’s telling the jokes, she’s laughing, she’s signing an autograph. Camera goes on her and she was just unbelievable.”
I'm sure Miley's dad is thrilled by the comparison -- how long before the good Christian girl (remember when Madonna was one?) is causing a religious uproar?

Isn't she already causing an uproar among the more conservative members of society with her trampy pictures? That train has already left the station.
Very pathetic analogies. These "conservative members of society" need to get a life and stop judging a teenager. Grow up people.
Strictly for a morality standpoint, Miley and Madonna are worlds apart. As far as musical performance ability and stage presence, I can see some comparisons, sure. But I can't see Miley delving into the sortof subject matter and controversial video content that Madonna took on (that, and the fact it would be somewhat difficult to top Madonna's controversial gimmicks).
