Khloe Kardashian Gets Jail Time
Ah, young Hollywood. Where going to rehab and doing time in the slammer are just rites of passage.
Khloe Kardashian has been sentenced to 30 days in Los Angeles County jail for violating probation following a DUI arrest.
"She admitted to failing to complete [roadside cleanup duty] and enroll in an alcohol education class," said an L.A. City Attorney spokesman.
Kim's little sister was arrested for DUI in March of 2007 and was sentenced to three years probation. But, because she was too lazy to follow up with the law, Khloe's going to jail.
"Khloe is ready and willing to serve out her sentence, no matter how long and where, and have this resolved," her rep said in a statement.
She has until Friday to start serving her month-long sentence, which will probably round out to a whole 22 minutes. Then she must start attending an alcohol class within 21 days of her release.
Hmm, I was about to dog her for not doing some simple roadside cleanup, but an hour or two in jail might actually be better. And she'll certainly look a lot cooler to her friends.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think she needs rehab more than jail. She got that DUI after going to total pieces on the anniversary of her dad's death. The way she was carrying on it was clear she has a lot of issues and is using alcohol to bury them. She needs help. I hope she goes to those classes.
I have only seen Keeping up with the Kardashians a handful of times so I don't know her problems. I do know that it must be nice to thumb your nose at the law and then only go in for less than an hour and still get another chance to complete it. If a normal person like me did that, I would go for at least 20 of those 30 days if not more. I bet because she isn't Kim, she will serve a lot longer than 1 day. We'll see.
The Kardashians, like the Hiltons, Lindsay Lohan, and countless other trashy celebs believe they are above the law. Sadly, the fact that they are often afforded preferential treatment, proves they might be right in thinking just that!
Frenchie and Dawn said it right. Why shouldn't they thumb their nose at the law? They get preferential treatment and then get more press which leads to more money. I bet she even did it on purpose.
Who the heck is this? I thought I was on top of the lists of current celebrities but I've never heard of her.
Chandi, she is the sister of Kim Kardashian- who became famous by hanging with Paris Hilton and the leaking of a nice little sex tape. Alot of these girls, as well as Paris, never really do anything. They don't act, sing, dance...basically they're just rich, know celebs, and get their name out by a sex tape or something that will put their name in the media. Then all of the sudden they get a reality show and well, I suppose they do act.
I read someplace else that she got THREE days in jail; not 30. Regardless, if she drinks and drives, she deserves the time no matter who she is.
Actually they own clothing stores and Kim also models, so they don't exactly do nothing... not that I'm defending them.
