Shia LaBeouf Arrested & Injured In DUI Crash
It was a very Lindsay Lohan-like weekend for Shia LaBeouf, who was arrested for drunk driving early Sunday morning, after crashing his car.
The Indiana Jones star, 22, was involved in a collision around 3 a.m., while attempting to make a left turn in Hollywood, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. S. Wolf told UsMagazine.com. He "showed outward signs of intoxication," the cop said.
I'll say. His Ford F-150 pickup struck another car and rolled over twice.
"Officers at the scene determined that neither his passenger, nor the other driver, were seriously injured so the charge is misdemeanor DUI," the cop said.
Shia, on the other hand, messed up his hand and knee, and needed some major fixing up.
"Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month," his lawyers said in the statement.
Chalk this up as another red mark on the former Disney star's record. Remember the whole "being drunk and disorderly in Walgreens" incident last year? Yeah, well, this is so much worse than knocking over a couple of deodorant displays.

I've always loved Shia's acting and the characters he plays. He's a wonderful actor. I was really hoping that his previous incidents would be isolated and he would straighten up. Then he gets this accident and arrest. I hope he has learned from his mistake before he goes down the dark road any further. I really like him and hope and pray that he turns himself around. Get well soon, Shia -- and don't make any more stupid mistakes! We love you!

Thats a shame. I thought he was one of the smarter hollywood young people, but apparently not.
I don't know why all these Hollywood actors think they have the right to break the law and get away with it. No matter who it is they should all stand accountable for such actions. Just because you're in Hollywood doesn't mean you can do these things and law enforcement does nothing to change this. I hope he gets punishment deserved. Oh wait hold on, this is Hollywood, what am I thinking. I am so sick and tired of these people comitting these crimes and getting off scott free. If you want to say Hollywood actors are human then treat them as every other person and punish them acoordingly.
I agree Kellie - Shia has a promising career ahead of him, and i sure hope he doesn't mess it up with these DUIs...hopefully he can realize his mistakes and move on!
