Why Steve Carell Is Every Girl's Best Co-Star
Steve Carell may not be your typical Knight in Shining Armor, but the actor was all Anne Hathaway needed at the Italian premiere of Get Smart.
Anne has been, very publicly, dealing with her breakup from shady businessman Raffaello Follieri, so reporters were forbidden from asking the stars any personal questions on the red carpet. Unfortunately one media snoop ignored the request and hit Anne with, "Was the separation from your ex-boyfriend painful?"
The beauty fell silent and in swooped The Best Co-Star Ever, Steve, who promptly saved the day by telling the reporter, "In my role of agent [for] Miss Hathaway, I would like to say that she does not answer questions relating to this subject."
Awww! That's sweet. KEEPER.
