How sad but if she stays positive like she always has, then it will be mind over matter. I wish her much luck.

I say its time to start doing mandatory mammograms for all women starting in their 20's as it would seem that more women are being diagnosed with breast cancer way earlier then in their 40's.

Cancer is fightable...I'm a lung cancer survivor...They will probably use radiation, usually six weeks, on her....God will keep His hands on her for survival...

I HAVE LATELY NOTICED HOW MANY PEOPLE IN HOLLYWOOD GET CANCER; INDEED, I HAVE BEEN NOTICING HOW MANY STAGE-AND-FILM ACTORS AND ACTRESSES GET CANCER, SEEMINGLY AT AGES WHICH ARE PROVING TO BE YOUNGER EVERY YEAR.

CANNOT HELP WONDERING IF THE STRESSES OF BEING UNDER SO MUCH PUBLIC SCRUTINY ALL THE TIME, AND FACING WORKLOADS WHICH REQUIRE CONSTANT PRIMPING, PRIMING, FUSSING, FAKING AND SUCH, ADD TO THE REDUCTION IN IMMUNOLOGICAL STRENGTHS, WHICH CAN PRIME THE BODY AS A NATURAL CANCER-TARGET.

ANYBODY WITH ME ON THIS? SHOUT OUT.

MEANWHILE, YES, I ALWAYS LIKED CHRISTINA'S COMIC AND SERIOUS ROLES, AND HER PORTRAYALS WHICH (WHILE NOT ALWAYS FLATTERING) WERE AND ARE, OFTEN POIGNANTLY REALISTIC. (MEANING: SHE PLAYS THE KIND OF CHARACTERS WE ARE HAPPY WE ARE NOT, BUT ASHAMED TO ADMIT, WE WISH WE HAD THE GUMPTION TO BE!)I REALLY HOPE SHE IS SWIFTLY OUT OF THE DANGER ZONE.

My prayers and thoughts are with Christina Applegate. I had a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy this past June that indicated that i had Ductal Carcinoma In Situ...an early...non-invasive kind of cancer. When they went in for the lumpectomy to take out the DCIS....they also found invasive cancer. I have had 2 surgeries since June and now in August i start other treatment. I know what Christina is going through and how it is emotionally hard to deal with a cancer diagnosis. I will be praying for her during this difficult time while i am still in treatment also.

I wish Christina a fast and speedy recovery!!

Joe Blow really is really sick! Don't you realize how this makes a woman feel? What her mind and body go through? You are really totally disgusting!

Fighting cancer isn't an easy road to travel on. I wish her the best and a fast recovery.

I feel really sad about this. I remember reading an article which stated that Christina's mother had breast cancer, and that motivated Christina to take good care of herself and to eat only healthful foods....I will pray for her.

It's sad how she could take such good care of herself and still get this. The plus side is that she does take such good care of herself and it was caught early. That cancer runs in my b/f's family and mine as well, so I am more than aware that I could one day be in her shoes.

And to all those who already are, never give up for that is when it wins. And I hope, for all who must endure this, that recoveries are quick and the cancer is the one to suffer.

And Joe Blow, yes she is a beautiful woman with a beautiful figure, but you really did have a tactless way of saying it.

I WISH HER ALL THE BEST....SINCE SHE FOUND OUT EARLY, IT IS ALOT EASIER TO "TREAT", BUT W/ CANCER, IT'S NEVER EASY & IT DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE...YOUNG, OLD, STRESSED, NOT STRESSED, SMOKER NO SMOKER..SAD, HANG IN THERE, STAY POSITIVE..I KNOW SOMETIMES IT'S HARD!

Wow! I hope that she is receiving all of the necessary medical treatment that she needs and that she begins to heal and recover positively as soon as possible. I survived cancer at a very early age in my life and I know that surviving and recovering go hand in hand with being diagnosed. May god bless you and your family Christina Applegate!
