Morgan Freeman: From Car Accident to Divorce?
Is The Dark Knight bad luck? First there was the tragic passing of Heath Ledger. Then Christian Bale was arrested for assault. Next came Morgan Freeman's car accident. And even more recently? Morgan is getting a divorce!
According to Morgan's attorney, he and his wife of 24-years, costume designer Myrna Colley-Lee, "are involved in a divorce action."
He added, “And for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007.”
Very, very sad. Maybe that's why he avoided reporters at the Dark Knight red carpet?

If the guy was separated and had divorce proceedings pending with his wife, he shouldn't have to worry about who was in the car with him. The most important thing is that both of them SURVIVED the car accident and are going to be okay. The media will make a huge deal out of this just because his passenger wasn't his wife. I hope Morgan and his "friend" are okay.
