If you're like me, you still can't think about when Dr. Marc Greene died from a brain tumor on ER -- six years ago.

Well, break out your tissues because Anthony Edwards is on his way back to the cold, fluorescent-lit hallways of NBC. Unfortunately the show hasn't found a way to resuscitate Dr. Greene's character (couldn't it all have been a dream?), but the good doc will appear in newly-filmed flashbacks.

Anthony's episodes, which will air during November sweeps (natch!), are set to film next week.

I just thought about that ukulele-filled version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" that played when Marc died in 2002. I have go lie down.
