Sarah McLachlan & Husband Split
Sarah McLachlan may need to find a new drummer.
The singer and her husband, Ashwin Sood, who also plays the drums in her band, have split.
"I'm separating from my husband, so these are the songs about that," she told Billboard.com, referring to her two new tunes, "U Want Me 2" and "Don't Give Up on Us," on her new album Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan.
"I wasn't planning on saying anything," the songstress said of the breakup, which she called "pretty gross" (yikes!). "But it's gonna come out at some point. I haven't said anything about it because I've been terrified to, but I figure ... there's no good time to say it, so I just said it."
The couple have been married 11 years and have two daughters together.

And this when she started her affair with him while he was living with her best friend... she wrote songs about how 'sad' she was then too...what goes around comes around and now she wants to make money off this too.. yech!
