Travis Barker & DJ AM Critically Injured in Jet Crash
Such sad news this morning.
Former Blink-182 drummer and reality star Travis Barker and Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein were critically injured in a jet crash in South Carolina Friday night. Four other people on the jet were killed. Travis and Adam had performed with Perry Farrell and Gavin DeGraw earlier in the night, but it has been confirmed that Perry and Gavin were not on board.
"The plane crashed on takeoff and went through a fence near Highway 302, then crossed the road and went up an embankment before being filled with flames," an airport rep told People.com. "There was debris all over the runway. We are closed now and hope to reopen later today."
The jet was headed to Van Nuys, California .Travis and Adam were taken to a burn center in Augusta, Ga., where they were both listed in critical condition.
Travis has had on-and-off relationship with Shanna Moakler for years, which was documented on MTV's Meet the Barkers, and they have two children together. Adam was once engaged to Nicole Richie.

UPDATE: The four who were killed in the crash have been identified. They are: pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles; and Barker's assistant Chris Baker, 26, also of Los Angeles.
Our condolences go out to all of their friends and families.

I will pray for both of them ,they're such great artists im really hoping that they will be ok they're friends,family and fans need them.
This is so shocking. I'm from SC, and we always complain about "getting on the map," but I really don't want to be known as the state where these two amazing artists' lost their lives. We can only hope for the best.
I am so sorry to hear about those lives taken in this freak accident. My heart goes out to their friends and family. I pray for full recovery for those injured, and wish their families the best.

Than God Travis and Adam were not killed, there's been too many musicians percentage-wise, that have dies way too young in life. My condolances to families those who died on the plane that night, and no doubt Travis lost a personal friend when his assistant died.
Goes to show just how fast life can leave us - in the blink of an eye.
im a really big fan or travis barker, iv been a fan of him every since blink182 first came out.
he has always been my idol in my eyes, iv been playing drums now for 12-13 years and the whole time iv always had travis barker as my rollmodel!
when i herd about this, i was in shock,
but still staying strong, and never giving up hope.
we will always be there praying for yeah, good luck and cant waite to hear more about what your doing after all of this is done and over with!

Well I understand what they are going through. i also had 40% of my body burn and let me tell you it's a hand full.But someone very special told me when i had my accident " God doesn't put anything in are lives that we can't handle".
