Beyonce Spills the Beans on Her Marriage to Jay-Z
Beyonce is finally, finally saying something about the fact she and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z are husband and wife. The couple, who married six months ago, have yet (up until now) publicly acknowledge their union. But B talked to Essence mag about her life with J -- and how very special it is.
"What Jay and I have is real. It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real," the singer said.
And, after being grilled by the interviewer about their big day and Beyonce stating, "You're gonna get me in trouble," she revealed that they had a small wedding in NYC. They kept it intimate, the bootylicious babe said, because she doesn't think of herself as a "traditional woman," and she didn't want the drama. "It's been my day so many days already," she told the mag.
As for the love between her and her new hubby, B said she really had no doubts that she and J would make it to the altar. "We've been together a long time," she says. "We always knew it would happen."
I don't know -- it just seems silly to me not to say anything. You're married. Yay. We're over it. Let's move on.

What makes me laugh is that she calls him Jay. That's not even his real name. That is totally a marriage made in Hollywood. Two powerful people getting together to make as much money as possible.

I think it was ridiculous to carry on like it was this big secret and now that she finally feels compelled to reveal the truth, I'm not really interested. She just needs to go sit her silly little self down somewhere.
I don't think it is ridiculous to keep their private affair a secret. They should keep certain things special between the two. Why not?

I'm glad to know that they decided to open up to the public about their marriage.I love to know about celebrity accomplishments, advancements,and acheivements verses their downfalls.Both couples are very successful in what they do and they do it very well. Keep up the good work and congrat- ulation on your new lifestyle. you go girl..............
umm its not like she was making an exclusive of it dumba**. It says in the article that the interviewer drilled her for it. Read damn it. & you really think they married just to make more money?? Crawl back under that penniless rock of yours and just stay there..effin idiot!!
I think that it is great that they have finally gotten married. Whether they made it public or not, they have been together for a long time.
I just hope that since both of them are celebs that something positive comes out of this union. Maybe they can consider adopting some orphans or speak out about global warming...something positive.
