Jessica Simpson -- Not So Much A Major Movie Star
I want to say that Jessica Simpson should forget about acting and just stick with singing, but do I really want that?
Maybe she should just move to Russia, 'cause that's where her new movie, Major Movie Star, killed at the box office. Yup, it opened at No.1 over there where Sarah Palin's neighbors live, but here in the U.S., not so much. Actually, it's going straight to DVD.
Womp, womp.
Sources confirmed to UsMagazine.com that the flick will be renamed Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous, before showing up on shelves -- not like that is going to make any difference.
Jess' rep had no comment. I mean, really, what could they say?

I don't even know why she's famous. She has no talent. She just seems to clinging on to her tiny bit of fame to ensure Ashlee doesn't upstage her. Too late though. Ashlee is by far the more talented sister.
you're seriously comparing the celebrity merit of the simpson sisters?
While I don't care too much for either sister, we all have to admit that they both have talent. I think stars these days think that they are the "triple threat, " when they are way off. Jessica should quit acting...like yesterday.
Everyone has their own opinions, I think Jessica is great. Her true talent however is singing.
I think the ditz act she put on for her newlywed reality show w/ Nick really messed things up for her.
Maybe she would be more successful on another reality show. There is regular acting and then there is reality show acting, since she was very good with NewlyWeds, perhaps she should try doing something in that field again, just leave Tony out of it! We all know how that turned out when she and Nick agreed to do a show together.
They can do a reality show on ANYTHING these days..tape her on tour, show what life is like on the road, or her fashion...her talent & success is there,just pick anything:-)

OMG, why would ANYONE offer her a movie role? How many disasters does it take for the producers to get it that she can't act, maybe not even READ!! Singing...another NO!! I have no idea why the country fans have embraced her...she's totally bombed in every other avenue (except her marketing...she should stick with that and FORGET about trying to be famous!)
The thing that she and Palin have in common is that they both are trainwrecks that are rather fun to watch, just to see how bad it can actually get!
