Instead of protecting Brad Pitt from the swarms of paparazzi, a plain-clothes security guard, at the premiere of Brad's new movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, got a little rough with the actor.

According to reports, Brad arrived at the theater about half and hour before the film ended, as he was scheduled to talk to the audience and answer questions about the flick. Once he got there the paparazzi tried to snap photos of him, and that's when the security guard showed up. He "grabbed, pushed and spun" Brad around, leaving him shaken and bewildered. After breaking free Brad had words with the bodyguard then headed up to the bathrooms to pull himself together. He returned a little while later, once the lobby was cleared.

What is that about? Was it his guy's first day on the job? And they assigned him to Brad Pitt? Just weird.
