Carrie Underwood Makes Nice to Jessica Simpson
First things first -- this is a ridiculously gorgeous photo of Carrie Underwood on the cover of the new issue of Elle.
Okay, now for the juice -- Carrie says that she's sorry for making Jessica Simpson mad by telling the world that Jess' boyfriend/Carrie's ex Tony Romo still calls the American Idol winner.
"It was something that was said in passing, and I would never mean to say anything to hurt anybody or stir up anything, because I'm just not about drama...at all," Carrie told the mag.
Jessica reacted by saying that there was no way her man was calling Carrie -- and that she had looked at his call log to find out the truth.
And Carrie says she gets why Jess was pissed at her. "I might be mad too if somebody said my boyfriend was calling some other girl," she said. "So I can definitely see where she would be coming from."
But if you're wondering, Carrie says she hasn't spoken to Tony, "since, like, May."
Apologies are all fine and good, but I still think Jess would throw meat at Carrie if she had the chance.

What amazes me is that Tony would prefer a divorcee with a controlling father to Carrie Underwood. Good luck to him if he marries Jessica Simpson!

i agree with dawn in that he should no longer have a chance with carrie, although i loved them together and think they make a WAY better couple than he and jessica. oh well.
I was thinking the same way! How could he choose her over Carrie Underwood? I think that Carrie wasn't that into him and Jessica probably worships the ground he walks on. I also hate how Carrie said that in an interview when he probably WAS still calling her and then when the article came out, he was already seeing Jess. Anyway, any smart woman knows that a man who wants to call a chic and not get caught, he just has to delete that particular call record. It would be very easy to fool Jessica Simpson!
What amazes me is...no one else has mentioned that the Elle cover of Carrie Underwood is out of this world gorgeous. Jessica would never do a cover like that. It doesn't show her tits or her horse-teeth. God forbid.
I just wish everyone would let all the celebs just live there lives. I never remember people being this mean. When I was a child we worshiped them wanted to be like the celebs the media has been has been given a green light to do whatever it takes to get a picture or a story. She has never looked bad and I don't know if she gained weight or not but if she has it was in the right places. No one has the right to say either way.
