Christina Aguilera to Open the AMAs

I love me a song medley!
Christina Aguilera is slated to open the American Music Awards on Nov. 23, with a whole hodge-podge of her biggest hits. According to UsMagazine.com, Xtina will be performing a seven-minute gig featuring "Genie in a Bottle," "Fighter", "Beautiful," "Keeps Getting Better" and "Dirrty."
"We are very excited to have Christina Aguilera perform at this year's show," the Dick Clark Productions Prez said. "She raises the bar with each live performance and you can expect something special at the 2008 'American Music Awards.'"
Other performers set to appear are Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Mariah Carey.
Um, yay!

She is pretty but ruins it with that pound of clown makeup and that dreadful, ugly hair. I used to like her music too until I noticed that she acts like a stuck up beeeotch everywhere she goes and that put an end to that.
Yeah I know what ya mean HELLoise..But one thing is for sure..She is a beeeotch that can pretty much out sing anyone
I love Christina, ur right about the make up, i just love the fact the she changes with every single CD. Excited to see what she is going to do on the AMA's....
The girl can sing but her performance capabilites leave something to be desired. Good thing she has a great voice or this industry would have chewed her up and spit her out after Genie in a Bottle.
ummm Christina is an amazing woman. period. stop the hatin
I love Christina's voice. She definitely's got it. What I am beggining to hate now are her huge boobs. They are practically dragging the floor. A nice bra to pick them up might be a booster. I don't mind the make up, but I hate those ugly butterfly lashes. I hate them on anyone. About the hair, what has she done to it? It looks so dry and lifeless. She used to have beautiful, glossy locks. I hate her hair-do. About her attitude, her divahood is too much. She treats her husband like a doormat.
I love her performances. She was recently voted in Rolling Stone's top 100 singers of all time and she was th only person under 30 in the list!
As for the Diva behaviour i disagree because that's what the media want to show. Recently she went to Turkey to support a charity for orphan children but no western magazine/newspaper/channel sai anything about it. If it was negative publicity they would!
