Julianne Hough Gives Up Dancing
Julianne Hough is hanging up her dancing shoes and moving on. The two-time Dancing with the Stars champ was eliminated from the competition, along with partner Cody Linley, last week, and has decided not to waltz across the DWTS stage again.
"I'm not gonna be back next season," the 20-year-old hottie told Ryan Seacrest Thursday. "I really, really want to focus on the music and, ya know, be taken seriously a little bit. And I think it's hard to be on [Dancing] and be singing."
If was a tough season for the dancer, who was diagnosed with endometriosis and needed surgery, but her music career seems to be off to a good start. Yup, Julianne just released a Christmas album available at Target (don't I sound like a commercial?).
I'm not a fan of the show, so her departure really has no impact on my life, but I do know a lot of people who are sort of in love with her. Tell me, do you care?

I, too, find the "Dancing" competition boring...but their results' shows are chock full of professional entertainment. Therefore, I tune in to those. Julianne is lovely, sings and dances well, and--at least as far as I am aware--has higher morals than most of the so-called celebs.
This is realy disappointing. I didn't enjoy Julianne's singing at all and I will miss her dancing on the show. She is too young to hang up her shoes. How does "Diane" have any idea at all about the morals of those who take part in the show?
