Brad Pitt Says His Brood Is Not Spoiled!

You may imagine that Christmas at the Jolie-Pitt house is just an embarassment of riches. Tons of ridiculous presents everywhere, like a full-size train set that runs through the house like Ricky Schroeder had in Silver Spoons, but Brad says it's not so.

"We do exchange gifts, although we don't feel any pressure to make them big or expensive gifts," Brad told Hello.

The actor said that he and love Angelina don't allow their kids watch cartoons, where they could be enticed by ads for over-the-top toys.

"When they do see that stuff is when they start asking for the toys, so we figure if they don't see them, they won't know they're there. So we have gifts, but we try to keep the money spent to a minimum," he said.

Brad revealed that they even make gifts for each other.

"The rule is that everyone's got to make something for someone else, you got to put time into it," he said. "Then, when they give to each other, it's really sweet."

Totally nice and thoughtful and in the holiday spirit. But, if we're being honest, and it's a toss-up between a Maddox's homemade macaroni ashtray and Ricky Schroeder's train, you're going to hear a big "Choo Choo!" from this girl.

Every pic you see of Ang and the brood, they're either coming out of a toy store, or they're shopping...GIVE ME A BREAK BRAD! Of course you don't need to spend millions on the kids at x-mas...you take them shopping every weekend of the year...LOL!! Nice try!

are you kidding - they know every toy shop in America. they just have to play with other kids and know what is going on. I get so annoyed listening to Angie claiming she wants them to keep their culture - buying a young kid knives, yeah right. If she wants them to retain their culture she should never have taken them away from their world and instead funded a family to keep the children or funded the nursery. I am sure a couple of dresses, Brads suits or even his motorbikes would cover the cost. A simple life - yeah, private jets, helicopters, luxury mansions - oh I wish.

I agree with the other posters. They are always coming out of a toy store so everyday is Christmas I guess. Also Brad is contradicting himself about the cartoons. I read an interview with AJ and she said they watch Dora the Explorer all the time. That was how knew what twins were! Apparently Dora has a twin brother and sister. They always change their comments about their family depending on who they are talking to to ensure they get a sound bite.

I agree with the posters...
Why is people with money are always trying to downplay everything...like they live like the people next door...
HELLO...everything they do is not like the people next door !
Brad, it is not what you have or how much....it is what or how you teach your kids about life, people, etc that counts in the end...
Can't wait to see these kids all grown-up...then we'll see how well-adjusted they are !
