Eartha Kitt Dies at 81
Singer/actress Eartha Kitt has succumbed to colon cancer at the age of 81.
The sexy lady, who I will always remember as Catwoman to Adam West's Batman (way before even Michael Keaton was playing him), was still performing up until two months ago, when her cancer returned after a period of remission.
Eartha had a really good life, winning two Emmys in her career that spanned decades.
May she rest in peace.

My husband just finished writing a letter to the editor of our local newspaper. We live in SC. I am a native, as Ms. Kitt was. In addition to no news of her passing, there was also no report of Bettie Page's.
Honestly. Be a female icon, & be ignored around here. I'm ashamed of my local media.
