Jen Beats Brad at the Box Office
Jennifer Aniston came out on top in the Christmas box office beat down, with her new flick, Marley & Me, breaking records and grossing $14.8 million, the highest one-day total ever for a film opening on Dec. 25.
Though, don't be crying for Jen's ex, Brad Pitt, whose The Curious Case of Benjamin Button didn't do too shabby either. The triple-hanky film set the record for the second-highest Christmas opening of all-time with $11.8 million.
According to Variety, both films exceeded box office expectations by 40-50 percent.
So Jen beats Brad at the box office, but they both are still super successful. Can't we just leave it at that? Or does there have to be a follow-up story about how Angelina Jolie is so pissed that Jen won this round that she is paying to have Marley pulled from all the theaters in New Orleans.
You know The Enquirer is working on that.

Well ya knowwww...Owen Wilson stars in this film also..maybe just maybe thats why the movie was such a great success ..thats my 2 cents..I think Owen is really funny. I like Jen too. But I would rather see Owen than her or Brad for sure anyday
It's only because Brad fans have a life, and didn't want to sit at the movie theater when they could be at home with their loving families, just like Brad would have been.
....and Jen, oh that's right she didn't want a family! WOW what an achievement..."I beat my ex at the box office, gee I hope that still makes me happy when I'm old, all alone and baron"
Anyway most people who went, were probably single men going for a perv/wank after her well timed "Nothing but a tie" photo shoot.

why does everyone make this a competition...that's why this crap about those three never dies...
we already what Brad/Angie did...I'm not a fan of theirs but I certainly would not keep commenting about them...it is not worth my time...
also...I wouldn't keep commenting about Jennifer either ... let the poor girl be...it is obvious she has moved on...it's the fans & the tabloids who have not !
The whole situation is what it is...if Brad/Angie are happy & it lasts so be it...I wish the same for Jennifer --- to find someone who will knock her socks off & be loyal for forever --- maybe what Brad did was the best thing he ever did for her --- maybe he just was a lousy husband (and person) that is why their marriage did not work !
I've always liked Jennifer for keeping her mouth shut about Angelina and Brad but it seems like she did it this time for attention thus improving her box office stats.
Anyone that's a competitor want's to get the last win. I'm sure the race is not over. Brad will rise up and win another day. More power to both of them. Neither one of them is exactly broke.

I doubt either one is keeping score! I am sure they are both too busy with their lives to CARE!! I am not a Brad fan anymore.....I don't even think he is good looking anymore and Angie is a freak. But Jen has a lot of class and I think she will have the last laugh in the end. You just don't get to end up happy when you lie and cheat....he'll get what he deserves!
